How do you creative geniuses make your blogs look so nice re: original and not looking like a cookie cutter blog?!

Um, I'm a creative person, but I use one of the "cookie cutter" templates. LOL

The only advice I'm going to throw out there is keep a copy of your current template (you can copy and paste it to notepad) before you start playing. Learned that one the hard way!

yep... heed edie's advice carefully.

also, there's a lot of site out there - like this one - with a bunch of blogger templates for download. you just need to make sure to update the code in your new template to match any of the tweaks (like links, etc) that you have aleady done to the one that you have now.

I came across a site this weekend and thought of you. It is along the same lines as what Platy suggested: http://www.createblog.com/layouts.

Under layouts choose blogger and sort by choose favorites and you'll come up with some nifty designs. Just remember, like Platy said, you'll have to re-add any links you've added.
