Happy Long Weekend!!!
I realize that most of you reading this blog are celebrating a long weekend next week.
I went to Algonquin Park and on the way to my destination, just inside it. An accident occured and there is only one get to go inside Algonquin, Hwy 60.
Waiting for Paradise.
Standing in line
On the road
People playing catch
Around me.
As I sit with anticipation
For a dream that may happen.
But not right now,
the timing must be perfect.
1 person is laid to rest on a motorbike
because a moose in anticipation
Running toward some food
that just might feed him.
The sun still hiding above the clouds.
Peeking once in a while
to see how we are doing.
Waiting in anticipation
to peek down on us again.
There is only one road
That takes us to the other side
Roads don't feel anticipation
As we wait,
For a dream that just might happen.
